Registered Nurse – LTAC (Travel, Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 6-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in planning and delivering safe patient care
  • Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
  • Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
  • Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care

Required Qualifications

  • Active Ohio RN license or multi-state RN license
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in an LTAC setting within a hospital environment
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
  • Demonstrated experience with ventilator and tracheostomy management

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior travel nursing experience
  • Experience with telemetry monitoring in an LTAC or similar acute care environment
