Key Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with established clinical protocols and setting-specific procedures
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility and compliance requirements
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team regarding patient status and progress
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients throughout the course of treatment

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required
• Permanent state license required — compact license alone is not sufficient for this assignment
• Prior experience in the outpatient physical therapy setting required
• Must meet credentialing and contract QA requirements prior to assignment start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume outpatient therapy environment
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
• Ability to adapt quickly to facility-specific workflows and protocols
