Contract | Rotating Shift (Days and Nights) | 36 Hours per Week | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day Shift: 7:00–19:30, Night Shift: 19:00–7:30 | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit setting with estimated patient ratios of 1:1–2
• Monitor and manage critically ill cardiac patients utilizing advanced hemodynamic monitoring including Swan-Ganz catheters, PA lines, and balloon pumps
• Manage patients on mechanical ventilators and administer conscious sedation per protocol
• Perform telemetry monitoring and IV insertions as part of routine patient care
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity level as required
• Adhere to rotating holiday and weekend scheduling, including up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license) required at time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency in IV insertion, telemetry, mechanical ventilation, Swan-Ganz catheters, conscious sedation, balloon pumps, and PA lines
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system required
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
• Minimum of 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a manager, director, or formal leadership role

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience strongly preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
