Contract | Rotating Day/Night Shifts | Onsite | Monday–Sunday availability required; minimum every other weekend; no block schedules

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting within a large teaching facility
• Adapt to a rotating day/night schedule to meet the needs of the unit and patient population
• Maintain flexibility with scheduling, including weekend availability on a minimum every-other-weekend basis
• Accurately document patient care and clinical information using EPIC electronic medical records
• Participate in bi-weekly Monday orientations as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and AHA PALS certifications required
• TNCC required – must be included in submission packet or proof of scheduled class prior to start
• NIHSS certification required prior to start
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years required and non-negotiable
• Large teaching facility experience required; prior travel nursing experience required (may be waived for candidates with experience in 500+ bed teaching facilities and more than one ER)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CEN or ENPC certification preferred
• De-escalation training such as MOAB, ProAct, CPS, or equivalent preferred
