Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery, as needed to meet facility demands
• Deliver critical care respiratory support within the full scope of practice
• Operate and document within an Epic electronic health records system
• Participate in holiday rotation scheduling as required by the facility
• Adhere to all facility protocols, compliance requirements, and emergency response assignments, including potential hurricane season emergency team duties

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; CRT candidates will not be considered
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience, with recent critical care experience required
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license must be in hand at time of start
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications must be in hand at time of start
• NBRC (RRT) national certification required and must be in hand at time of start
• Must be able to float to all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records charting system
• Prior travel or contract assignment experience in an acute care or critical care hospital setting
