Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical unit with a patient ratio of 5–6:1
• Utilize general Med-Surg equipment and document patient information using the Meditech system
• Collaborate with a team including Patient Care Technicians to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Adhere to a scheduling requirement of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Float within facility Med-Surg units as needed per floating policy
• Maintain a patient experience standard in line with unit expectations

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Tennessee or a compact state license
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Team-oriented and compassionate approach to patient care
• Ability to wear navy scrubs as required by the facility dress code

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with the Meditech documentation system
• Familiarity with general Med-Surg equipment and workflows
• Experience working in a newly established or growing hospital unit
