Radiologic Technologist – Interventional Radiology

Location

Boston, MA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Every other weekend required | On-call coverage required | 72 guaranteed hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, TIPS, and related angio procedures
  • Function in both scrub and circulator roles during IR procedures
  • Operate GE and/or Siemens imaging equipment
  • Support neuro and/or CT imaging in addition to IR duties
  • Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as required

Required Qualifications

  • Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology required
  • Active Massachusetts Radiology License required
  • ARRT (RT) registration required
  • Training and experience in neuro or CT imaging in addition to IR
  • Scrub and circulator experience in an interventional radiology setting
  • Proficiency with GE and/or Siemens imaging systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of thrombectomy devices, including PE and stroke thrombectomy
  • Experience with a broad range of angio procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty
