Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Room setting, serving approximately 3,000 patients per month
• Assess, triage, and treat a diverse patient population including adult, elderly, and pediatric patients
• Support cardiac-focused care in a Level II facility with a predominantly elderly patient population
• Accurately document patient information and care delivery using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective emergency interventions

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current CPR certification
• Current ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke certification
• PALS certification
• TNCC or TNS certification
• Must successfully pass an EKG competency test on the first day of assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic medical records system
• Background working in a cardiac-focused or Level II emergency care environment
• Experience caring for geriatric and pediatric patient populations
