Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: September 15, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Progressive Care Unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Work night shift alongside a team that includes charge nurses, floor nurses, and patient care technicians
- Document patient care and clinical information using Meditech EMR
- Float to Med/Surg and PCU areas as needed per unit guidelines
- Adhere to unit call-in policy by notifying the unit before 5:00 AM for night shift absences
- Complete a minimum of 4 shifts per scheduling period, including required weekend shifts
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of PCU/Progressive Care experience
- Current ACLS certification
- Ability to wear royal blue scrubs per dress code policy
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or step-down setting
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
