Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Oncology Pod)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite | Float Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department Oncology Pod setting
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4, delivering safe and effective nursing care
• Perform IV starts and manage telemetry monitoring for assigned patients
• Float to additional units or areas as required by staffing needs
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience
• Active, valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Active BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing experience
• Experience with telemetry monitoring in an acute care environment
