Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Friday – Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every weekend required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
- Occasionally float to acute care or overflow/surge units housing medical-surgical patients based on divisional needs
- Participate in a full orientation program including facility-wide, department-level, and electronic health record training during the first week
- Adhere to holiday scheduling requirements, including working two major holidays as assigned
- Maintain compliance with a nicotine-free facility policy
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Active Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Telemetry RN in a hospital setting
- Must be available every weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience with electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic)
- Familiarity with medical-surgical or overflow/surge patient populations
