IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology)

Contract | Days | On-Site | Call required, including evening and weekend rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists during interventional procedures by scrubbing in and coordinating the room during cases
• Schedule and code procedures accurately within established departmental protocols
• Perform post-procedure film processing, charting, and billing of cases and supplies
• Work independently on smaller interventional cases and as part of a two-person team for large angiography procedures
• Float to CT department as needed to assist with procedures
• Participate in evening and weekend on-call rotation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT (R) registration required
• North Dakota Medical Imaging Board Registration (NDMIRT) required — please note that obtaining this credential may take approximately 4 weeks
• Successful completion of a background check

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic EMR
• Familiarity with Sectra PACS, Toshiba IR equipment, and Siemens Ultrasound systems
