Registered Nurse – First Assist (RNFA)

Contract | Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 19:00–07:00) | On-Call as Needed | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform first assist duties in the operating room under the direction of the surgeon
- Float to the main operating room as needed to support surgical teams
- Provide on-call coverage as required by the department
- Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in alignment with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license (conditional license accepted at time of submission)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an RNFA
- CNOR certification required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- COVID vaccination status required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume or acute care operating room environment
- Familiarity with travel nursing compliance requirements in Massachusetts
