Cardiac Device Technologist – Electrophysiology / Device Clinic

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | No on-call, no weekend requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Perform independent technical management of implanted cardiac rhythm management (CRM) devices, including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), and implanted loop recorders
• Monitor and evaluate cardiac device function and cardiac rhythm data for an adult patient population (18+) in an outpatient clinic setting
• Document device interrogations, findings, and clinical data accurately within the electronic medical records system
• Apply knowledge of cardiac rhythm management, cardiac devices, and cardiovascular physiology to support patient care
• Collaborate with the clinical care team to communicate device-related findings and ensure appropriate follow-up

Required Qualifications

• Current BLS certification
• Completion of a pacemaker/ICD Technician program or equivalent hands-on job experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of cardiac rhythm management, cardiac devices, and cardiovascular physiology
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR, with experience within the last 2 years required
• Reliable personal transportation (public transportation is not accessible in this area)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) credential
• Certified Device Remote Monitoring Specialist (CDRMS) credential
• Prior experience in an outpatient cardiac device or electrophysiology clinic setting
