Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights (19:30–07:30) | 3×12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within a dedicated inpatient rehabilitation unit during overnight shifts
- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system for accurate and timely documentation throughout the shift
- Deliver thorough and timely patient handoff to oncoming nursing staff, including outstanding tasks and relevant clinical updates not readily visible in the EMR
- Float to other units within comparable acuity levels as needed to support staffing requirements
- Fulfill every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday scheduling requirements
- Coordinate with Charge RN, Assistant Nurse Manager, or Nurse Manager to manage shift workflow, meal breaks, and any emergent situations near change of shift
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Delaware or a valid Compact RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in rehabilitation nursing — no exceptions
- Recent hands-on experience with EPIC EMR — required
- Current, valid nursing certifications as applicable
- Ability to work night shifts, every-other-weekend, and every-other-holiday rotations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation or acute care setting
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during 12-hour overnight shifts, including adherence to scheduled meal breaks
