Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Holiday rotation required (every other holiday)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) setting
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, interpreting ECG rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations with an acceptable passing score
• Maintain compliance with annual hands-on competency requirements and facility-assigned modules

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in ICU/SICU specialty (travel experience may be considered for SICU requirement)
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• All required certifications must be active and in hand at time of submission — no pending certifications accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of SICU experience within a single facility location
• Proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessment tools
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
