Key Responsibilities
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and manage labor progression throughout the shift
- Assist with deliveries and respond promptly to obstetric emergencies
- Administer medications, perform cervical exams within scope, and interpret fetal monitoring strips
- Prepare patients for operative deliveries as needed
- Provide postpartum education and emotional support to patients and families
- Deliver safe, efficient, and caring nursing services to achieve high standards of patient care in Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics
Required Qualifications
- Current Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in Labor & Delivery
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills in high-acuity obstetric situations
- Demonstrated ability to provide emotional support to patients and families during labor and delivery
