Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with 40+ beds and a 4:1 patient ratio (3 rooms and 1 hall bed during peak volume)
• Perform IV starts and phlebotomy as part of routine patient assessment and treatment
• Conduct cardiac monitoring and interpretation using unit equipment including cardiac monitors, EKGs, Lifepak, and Belmont Rapid Infuser
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, team leads, Advanced Paramedics, EDTs, MHSCs, and unit secretaries
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Maintain composure and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-pressure emergency environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Missouri or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI
• Strong adaptability and ability to function effectively as a team player in a high-acuity setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-pressure clinical environment
• Background in emergency or pre-hospital care (RN, Paramedic, Technician, or similar)
• Outgoing, positive demeanor with the ability to remain composed under pressure
