Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level IV NICU setting, including those with surgical, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and neurological conditions
• Manage and monitor intubated and critically ill infants, including those requiring ventilator support and tracheostomy care
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Servo Ventilators, Oscillators, Bubble CPAP, Hi-Flow Nasal Cannula, Nitric Oxide, Arterial Lines, and Peritoneal Dialysis
• Care for neonates presenting with complex diagnoses such as Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy, Necrotizing Enterocolitis, and Pulmonary Hypertension, among others
• Support patients in a regional high-acuity Fetal Care Center environment
• Float within the hospital system as needed, potentially to an additional campus

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio single-state or multi-state compact RN license (required at time of submission)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level IV NICU
• Demonstrated experience with ventilator and tracheostomy management
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates; candidates within 50 miles will be considered local and local rates will apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric nursing experience
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
• Experience with EVD, shunts, G-tubes, and Giraffe Beds in a neonatal setting
