Contract | Temp-to-Hire | Nights (5x8s, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Rotating Weekends | Holiday Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap of surgical instruments and equipment
• Support surgical services across a variety of case types including Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, and GYN
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including potential assignment to alternate campuses
• Participate in rotating weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled
• Adhere to Level I Trauma Center standards and protocols
• Participate in inclement weather response teams as assigned by management

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sterile processing technician experience
• First-time travelers not accepted; prior travel or equivalent experience required
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Hands-on experience in sterilization, decontamination, and instrument assembly/wrapping
• National Certification required: CBSPD and/or HSPA
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals considered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Orthopedic, Transplant, and/or GYN surgical cases
• Familiarity with teaching facility and Magnet-designated hospital environments
• Flexibility to float to sister or satellite campuses as needed
