Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Friday – Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every weekend required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data for assigned patients throughout each shift
- Float occasionally to acute care or overflow/surge units housing med/surg patients based on divisional needs
- Adhere to unit protocols and participate in required holiday coverage, including two major holidays per assignment
- Complete facility-specific orientation including general nursing orientation, department-of-nursing training, and virtual EMR training
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Telemetry RN in a hospital setting
- Active Kansas RN License required
- BLS Certification required
- Must be available to work every weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights)
- Must comply with nicotine-free facility policy
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Prior experience floating to acute care or med/surg units
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system
