Contract | Days | 5x8-hour shifts | Start time 8:00 AM or 8:30 AM | 72 guaranteed hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)
Key Responsibilities
- Administer infusion and chemotherapy treatments to patients in an outpatient infusion setting
- Monitor patients during infusion therapy and respond appropriately to adverse reactions or changes in condition
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care plans
- Float between two local facilities as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact state equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Infusion and chemotherapy administration experience required
- Oncology nursing experience required
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ONS chemotherapy certification preferred
- Experience in an outpatient oncology or infusion center setting
- Familiarity with floating between multiple clinical sites
