Job Title

Interventional Radiology Technologist (Travel)

Richmond, VA | Interventional Radiology

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | On-call required (1–2 nights per week; 1 weekend every 4–5 weekends)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with Interventional Radiology procedures including biopsies, drain insertions, angiograms, peripheral vascular studies, paracenteses, and thoracentesis
• Assist with line placement and support additional imaging needs including CT coronary, MRI monitoring, and myelograms
• Operate imaging equipment including the Discovery 740 IGS fluoroscopy system
• Document patient information and procedure data using the Meditech EMR system
• Administer and monitor patients under moderate sedation protocols
• Float to assist in CT, MRI, or general Radiology as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures experience
• Critical care experience required
• Procedural area experience required
• Moderate sedation experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Self-starter with a positive, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills
