Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/PCU setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Rotate across like units or sister facilities as needed, consistent with expectations for staff nurses (agency staff float first)
• Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling
• Utilize Epic for electronic health record documentation and charting
• During hurricane season (June–November), be prepared for potential assignment to emergency response teams

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU and/or Stepdown experience required
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIHSS certification preferred
• First-time travelers with prior ICU and/or Stepdown experience will be considered
• Experience with Epic charting system
