Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | On-call required approximately every 5 weeks (weekly rotation)

Key Responsibilities

• Administer nuclear imaging procedures and calculate, prepare, and administer diagnostic, therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals, and adjunctive medications using a variety of equipment while adhering to all relevant safety standards
• Perform a variety of nuclear medicine studies on inpatients and outpatients across all age groups, from neonate to geriatric, including hot lab duties
• Operate gamma cameras and imaging equipment (Siemens Symbia), process and transmit data using Epic charting and SECTRA PACS
• Monitor patient condition throughout imaging procedures, collect patient information, analyze data, and provide quality images for physician interpretation
• Implement radiation safety standards, quality assurance protocols, and adhere to Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) rules and regulations
• Cross-training in PET/CT scanning available but not required; scheduling for PET/CT is optional based on clinician preference

Required Qualifications

• Active NMTCB (CNMT) or ARRT (N) certification required
• Active North Dakota State License required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Must live more than 80 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with PET/CT procedures and related processes
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records and PACS systems
• Experience working across diverse patient populations with varied growth and development needs
