Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:30–18:00) | On-Call Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab / EP setting during day shift hours
• Perform circulating and documentation duties throughout procedures
• Participate in an on-call rotation, approximately every other weekend or every third weekend depending on staffing, plus additional weekday call shifts as scheduled
• Work at least every other holiday as required by unit scheduling
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with an acceptable passing score

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Cath Lab experience (recent and in the specialty)
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA BLS certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA ACLS certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system required
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the Cath Lab specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required
• Local candidates are accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience gained within a single facility or location preferred
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessment tools
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Cath Lab or EP environment
