Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Oncology)

Contract | Days or Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00–19:30 (Days) / 19:00–7:30 (Nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with solid tumor cancers including breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, esophageal, and patients undergoing antineoplastic chemotherapy
• Support patients across the full cancer care continuum — from new diagnosis through active treatment and end-of-life transition
• Perform telemetry interpretation and monitoring as part of routine patient assessment
• Maintain a strong focus on infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention
• Float to other Medical Surgical Oncology units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Document all patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — valid compact or Ohio state license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency in telemetry interpretation and monitoring
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing experience preferred but not required
• ONS Chemotherapy certification preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
