Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | On-call required (one weekend per month and one day per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Endoscopy unit with 6 procedure rooms and 13 prep/recovery bays
- Maintain procedure patient ratios of 1:1 and prep/recovery ratios of 2:1
- Assist with and monitor patients undergoing EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and bronchoscopy procedures for both adult and pediatric populations
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Float to IR, PACU, and Day Surgery as needed
- Participate in weekday and weekend on-call rotation as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of Endoscopy experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Proficiency with endoscopy equipment and procedures
- Ability to adhere to unit guidelines including no personal phones or earbuds during shift and reliable attendance
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an Endoscopy or GI setting
- Experience with both adult and pediatric endoscopy patient populations
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
