Travel RN – PCU / Progressive Care Unit (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Projected Start: June 29, 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care on a 45-bed 5th Floor Medical/PCU unit with a patient ratio of 4–5 patients per nurse
  • Administer and monitor cardiac drips and manage cardiac catheters
  • Perform chest tube management, wound care, and TPN/lipid administration
  • Utilize cardiac monitoring equipment, lifts, and Dynamap devices in daily patient care
  • Document accurately using the Meditech EMR system
  • Collaborate with a team including charge nurses, RNs, and multi-skilled technicians across night shifts

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience
  • Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado (or compact eligibility)
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Cardiac and/or ICU experience strongly preferred
  • Prior experience with Meditech EMR
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
