Travel RN – Oncology

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Rotating Weekends | Tuesday Start

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a dedicated Oncology unit with a patient ratio of 4:1 (max 5:1)
• Perform sterile dressing changes with a strong understanding of infection prevention protocols
• Manage blood and electrolyte replacement processes on a daily basis
• Operate Baxter infusion pumps and document patient care using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with charge nurses, fellow RNs, and Patient Care Technicians in a team-centered environment
• Participate in rotating weekend assignments as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Strong understanding of sterile dressing changes and infection prevention
• Solid understanding of blood and electrolyte replacement protocols

Preferred Experience / Skills

• General Medical Oncology background
• Experience with ports and central lines
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
