Registered Nurse – Oncology (BMT / Hematology Oncology)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for a mixed acuity PCU and medical-surgical oncology/hematology unit serving patients with diagnoses including leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndrome, and related conditions
• Administer chemotherapy and support patients undergoing autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic stem cell transplants, as well as CAR-T therapy
• Perform telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias; utilize Rapid Response Teams as appropriate
• Manage and care for central lines, PICC lines, and peripheral lines, including sterile dressing changes and central line blood draws
• Administer blood products and provide feeding tube care and management
• Document all patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license) required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical and inpatient hematology oncology experience required
• ONS Chemotherapy Certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• EPIC electronic health records experience required
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
• Locals are accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation in a medical-surgical or PCU setting
• Familiarity with bone marrow transplant protocols including CAR-T therapy
