Contract (13 Weeks) | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays As Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a cardiovascular med-surg telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
• Maintain a full patient ratio while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
• Float to other units within the facility in an RN capacity and assume a full patient assignment as needed
• Participate in orientation scheduled every Monday (16 non-billable orientation hours)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification required
• Must pass EKG competency test at 80% or higher prior to submission
• Minimum of 2+ years of RN experience; new graduates are not eligible
• Cardiovascular nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a telemetry or cardiovascular med-surg setting
• Comfort with floating to varied units and adapting quickly to different patient populations
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
