Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays As Needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a cardiovascular med/surg telemetry unit with a full patient ratio
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for cardiovascular patients
- Float to other units within the facility in an RN capacity, assuming a full patient ratio as needed
- Participate in orientation scheduled on a weekly basis
- Adhere to weekend and holiday staffing requirements as outlined by the facility
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license
- BLS certification required
- Must pass EKG test at 80% or higher prior to submission
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience; at least 1 prior travel contract required
- New graduates are not eligible for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a cardiovascular or telemetry care setting
- Comfort with floating to varied units and adapting to different patient populations
