Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Shift: 12:45 PM – 1:15 AM | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with a 101-bed unit and patient ratios of 4:1 (medical) and up to 7:1 on behavioral holds
• Work flexibly across all sections of the ED, including cardiac monitoring, internal processing, and triage areas
• Utilize Cerner for clinical documentation and Baxter pumps and GE monitors for patient care
• Deliver patient-centered care in alignment with AIDET principles, maintaining respectful behavior and keeping patients and boards updated throughout each visit
• Coach and provide real-time feedback to team members while maintaining a strong teamwork mentality
• Serve a diverse, multicultural patient population in a collaborative and welcoming department environment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting
• Experience in a Level 2 Trauma Center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED (100,000+ annual visits)
• ACLS required before start date
• BLS required before start date
• PALS required before start date
• TNCC required before start date
• CPI required before start date
• NIHSS required before start date
• ENPC required within 90 days of hire
• Ability to float to all sections within the ED (no floating outside the ED)
• Navy scrubs required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous HCA facility experience strongly preferred
• Experience working in a comprehensive stroke center
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system
