Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week | 10-Hour Evening Shifts | Up to 2 Weekends/Month (Call or Working Shifts) | On-Site

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate and/or scrub a wide variety of surgical procedures including general surgery, orthopedic trauma, neurosurgery, spine, ENT (head and neck), bariatric, GYN, urology, robotic surgery, and major plastic reconstruction
• Support kidney and liver transplant cases, as well as organ procurement procedures
• Maintain a 30-minute on-call response time</strong>; participate in short call shifts once per week and on-call coverage on weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Float to additional operating room locations as needed based on staffing requirements
• Provide inpatient Level I Trauma surgical support within a high-acuity, multi-specialty OR environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Massachusetts
• Demonstrated ability to circulate in orthopedic, neurosurgery, ENT, general surgery, and transplant (kidney) cases
• BLS and any applicable OR-specific certifications required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers will not be accepted
• Candidates who have worked at this facility as permanent or per diem staff within the last six months are not eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub experience in addition to circulating skills is highly preferred
• Experience with liver transplant cases is a strong plus
• Background in robotics, trauma, spine, or organ procurement procedures
• Comfort working in a high-volume, Level I Trauma surgical environment with diverse specialty exposure
