Travel – Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular X-Ray Tech)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and X-ray technologist duties during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures including R/L heart caths, peripheral and carotid angio/stents, PE/DVT cases, Impella/IABP, TEE/cardioversion, PPMs, IVC filters, and ECMO cannulations
• Operate GE and Philips cath lab imaging equipment across two procedure rooms
• Support 4-person procedure teams and rotate through cath lab holding areas (pre-op and recovery) as needed
• Document patient care using Meditech and Merge EMR systems
• Fulfill on-call requirements, averaging approximately 15 days within a 6-week scheduling period (self-scheduling)
• Float to other departments for task support if census or hours require

Required Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RAD TECH) – required; candidates without this credential will not be considered
• Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience as a CV X-Ray Tech
• Demonstrated ability to scrub cath lab cases and perform X-ray imaging independently
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, with flexibility for extended shifts as case volume requires
• Comfortable with on-call responsibilities in a high-volume, fast-paced lab environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior scrub experience in a cardiac cath lab setting
• Experience with pre- and post-procedure patient care
• Familiarity with GE and/or Philips cath lab imaging systems
• Experience with Meditech and/or Merge EMR platforms
