Key Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing patient treatment plans in an outpatient setting
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modality application
• Complete required clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with the supervising therapist regarding patient progress and any changes in condition
• Maintain compliance with facility credentialing and documentation requirements prior to and during assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Texas (permanent license required — compact license not accepted)
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
• Ability to meet contract credentialing and quality assurance requirements before start date
• Must not have worked at this facility in a permanent or PRN capacity within the past year

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume outpatient orthopedic or physical therapy clinic
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and interdisciplinary team members
