Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit within a short-term acute care facility
- Float between units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
- Adhere to AWHONN patient ratios at all times
- Participate in on-call rotation for low-census situations
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
- Complete required orientation modules prior to and during start of assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license required; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Must be available for all RTO and scheduling requests to be submitted upfront at time of submittal
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals accepted under separate terms)
- 2 professional references required, covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in Labor and Delivery
- Familiarity with AWHONN standards and maternal-child care environments
- Flexibility to float to sister facilities within the local area as needed
