Fort Walton Beach, FL | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | STEMI Call approximately 10–12 days per month | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting with 7 holding beds
- Perform and assist with procedures including PCI, TAVR, PFO closure, Atherectomy, R/LHC, Impella/IABP, Implants, DCCV, and TEE
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including GE Innova and Impella devices
- Document patient care accurately using MacLab and Meditech systems
- Participate in STEMI call coverage as scheduled
- Float within related departments including EP and Stress Lab as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Hands-on experience with Structural Heart procedures, IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with advanced procedures such as TAVR, PFO closure, and Atherectomy
- Familiarity with GE Innova imaging systems
- Prior experience with MacLab and/or Meditech documentation platforms
- Comfort with self-scheduling and working alongside an experienced clinical team
