Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry / Med-Surg (2 West)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: September 28, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit with a maximum patient ratio of 6:1
• Perform standard nursing skills including IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion and maintenance, and central line maintenance
• Administer medications and communicate effectively with all members of the care team
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Float to other Med/Surg units as needed
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage as required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (must be valid for the state of Texas or a Compact license)
• Minimum 1 year of acute Med/Surg experience within the last year
• Ability to manage and care for 4–6 patients simultaneously

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2+ years of acute Med/Surg experience within the last year
• Background in orthopedics or neuro-surgery nursing
• Med/Surg/Telemetry combined background
• Friendly, positive, patient-centered, and team-focused personality
