Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) – Travel Contract
Location
Tamarac, FL | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures, excluding neuro interventions
- Operate GE Bi-Plane imaging equipment in a fast-paced IR suite
- Document procedures and patient information accurately using the Meditech documentation system
- Participate in on-call coverage: Monday 4:30 PM – 7:00 AM and weekends 24 hours
- Collaborate with a team of 4 day-shift staff within a 350-bed facility
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification required
- IR (Interventional Radiology) certification required
- RT licensure required
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel assignment experience preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced interventional environment
- Ability to function independently with minimal supervision
