Contract | 12 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays As Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting with a 1:2 ratio, occasionally 1:3
• Specialize in neurological and stroke patient populations within the ICU
• Accurately document all patient care activities using EPIC electronic health records
• Float to other inpatient units and additional worksites as required
• Participate in unit orientation including classroom instruction and EKG training

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN License
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of strong ICU experience, specifically in Neuro and Stroke
• Must submit with a passed EKG test
• Proficiency in EPIC charting
• New graduates not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 5 or more years of ICU experience
• Experience with neurological and stroke patient care in a high-acuity environment
