Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Neuroscience PCU)

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Neuroscience Progressive Care/Step-Down unit setting
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records for all charting and documentation — no exceptions
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed
• Complete all required facility orientation modules within the designated orientation week timeframe
• Fulfill every-other-weekend (EOW) and 2 holiday obligations per contract terms

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia or a compact state — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• EPIC charting experience required — no exceptions
• Must adhere to facility natural nail policy
• 2 professional references required
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same base rate — no radius restrictions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior experience in a neuroscience, PCU, or step-down unit setting
• Familiarity with progressive care patient populations and acuity levels
