Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Neuroscience PCU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:00

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Neuroscience Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Stepdown)
• Document all patient care and clinical data using EPIC electronic health records (required, no exceptions)
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed
• Complete all required facility orientation modules within the designated orientation week timeframe
• Work every other weekend (EOW) and 2 holidays per contract term

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• EPIC charting experience required
• 2 professional references required
• Must adhere to natural nail policy
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same base rate — no radius restrictions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior experience in a neuroscience or stepdown/PCU setting
• Familiarity with progressive care patient populations and acuity levels
