Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in a Cardiac Cath Lab / EP setting supporting an average daily census of 15 cases
• Perform and assist with EP procedures including ablations (VT, PVI, CV, A-Flutter, AV Node), ICD/pacemaker placement and exchanges, laser lead extraction, and Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO)
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation during procedures
• Operate and set up specialized equipment including PFA, Cryo, ESI, IVUS, and Cardio Lab systems; document using EPIC (CUPID) and communicate via SBAR
• Function in both scrub and circulator roles, maintaining sterile field and sterile technique throughout procedures
• Participate in storm, hurricane, or disaster response teams as assigned; may be required to report during catastrophic events or mass casualty incidents

Required Qualifications

• Active NC RN license or valid Compact RN license
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab / EP nursing experience
• Proficiency in interpretation of dysrhythmias and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
• Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are welcome to apply; a lower rate applies

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with electrophysiology procedures including cardiac mapping, conduction studies, arrhythmia induction, and insertion/programming of AICDs
• Familiarity with Watchman/LAAO procedures and laser-assisted lead extraction
• Experience with Pyxis medication dispensing systems and EPIC documentation platforms
• Comfort working rotating late-team assignments to support end-of-day case completion
