Ultrasound Technologist – Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM)

Contract | Days | 16–26 Week Assignment | Monday–Sunday (Weekends as needed, no block schedules)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform OB/GYN ultrasound examinations in a Maternal Fetal Medicine setting, including routine and detailed fetal anatomy scans, follow-up OB, BPP, umbilical and MCA dopplers, and 1st trimester scans
- Conduct pelvic, sonohystogram, and HyCoSy procedures as needed
- See up to 8 patients per day across morning and afternoon sessions (twin pregnancies counted as two scans)
- Support GYN imaging needs; breast experience is not required
- Work within a large, Level I trauma facility across two on-campus sites
- Participate in holiday coverage — travelers are required to work 2 out of 4 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day
Required Qualifications
- ARDMS registration with OB/GYN credential required
- Minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN ultrasound experience
- Prior travel assignment experience required
- Large teaching hospital experience required
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable
- Reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended — public transportation is not accessible in this area; all-season or snow tires required November through April
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Maternal Fetal Medicine or high-risk OB environment
- Familiarity with REI and midwifery clinical settings
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume imaging department
