Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | Tuesday–Friday, 10:00 AM–8:30 PM | On-Call Rotation Required | Holiday Rotation Required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scan procedures across assigned locations, with daily caseload varying by shift and site
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, including potential rotation to sister facilities
- Participate in on-call rotation alongside permanent staff
- Attend all required staff meetings as scheduled by the facility
- Document and chart patient information using Epic
- Adhere to all radiation safety protocols; agency-supplied radiation badge is mandatory — the facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification required
- Active SCRQSA (R)(CT) licensure required — must be in hand at time of start; pending licensure not accepted
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience required; 1 year of overall CT experience preferred
- Proficiency with PIV placement and Siemens equipment required
- Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Magnet-designated or academic teaching hospital setting
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
- Experience working in high-volume or multi-campus health systems
