Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Days (3x12 Hours, 6:45–19:15) | Weekends and Holidays Required | No On-Call

Key Responsibilities

• Administer aerosolized medications via oral inhalation, EZPAP, IPPB, and MDI
• Provide Chest Physiotherapy (CPT), Incentive Spirometry, and Oxygen Therapy
• Manage CPAP/BiPAP therapy for appropriate patients
• Perform arteriocentesis as part of diagnostic and therapeutic care
• Document and manage patient care using the Epic electronic health records system; Epic experience within the past 18 months is required and must be clearly documented on your profile
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience required
• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Active compact or Tennessee (TN) state license required at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Epic experience within the past 18 months, clearly documented on candidate profile; candidates must pass the Epic competency exam (one attempt allowed)
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel therapy experience preferred
• Familiarity with neuro diagnostics or respiratory/neuro specialty settings
