Registered Nurse – CVICU/CCU (Nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a CVICU/CCU setting, including Day 0 post-operative cardiovascular patients
• Support and cross-cover CCU as needed based on unit staffing requirements
• Work within a facility that operates two Cath Labs, including one Hybrid Cath Lab
• Participate in weekend rotation as part of the standard scheduling arrangement
• Participate in the on-call rotation, taking one call shift per two-week period in place of scheduled hours that week, if requested due to staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of RN critical care experience required
• Day 0 CVICU experience required
• Active Colorado RN license in good standing
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association required
• Strong CVICU clinical skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Cath Lab or Hybrid Cath Lab environment
• Familiarity with CCU patient populations in addition to CVICU
• PALS certification through the American Heart Association
