Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Every other weekend required | Holidays scheduled as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients in a high-acuity, 18-bed Labor and Delivery unit
• Float as needed to MAU, MBU, and OBSC units within the health system
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
• Operate Triton and SurgiCount systems as required by unit protocols
• Complete a compliance EKG exam (up to 2 attempts allowed) as part of onboarding requirements
• Participate in non-billable orientation modules averaging 2–4 hours, completed during orientation

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam prior to starting (2 attempts allowed)
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• No open background check cases permitted
• Current driver's license required to verify address
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred
• Experience with Triton and SurgiCount systems
• Comfort floating across multiple obstetric and maternal care units
